It followed a retrospective of Richard Hofmann’s work that was on display at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist’s Collective in Red Hook, Brooklyn. In the film a close friend to Mr. Hofmann, Philly Abe guides us through his work and helps bring us into his world. Richard Hofmann was an artist that lived and worked in the Lower East Side and was someone that was always interested in working with the latest technology. A tremendous amount of thanks to Ellie Winberg that proposed the project to us. We were able to screen the film in the Lower East Side, Mr. Hofmann’s old stomping grounds, at Sommwhere.
